Andi Lee Carter
Andi Lee Carter writes in all media for the stage including plays, comedy sketches, musicals, and operas with an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He is a 2023-2025 librettist fellow with American Opera Projects in Brooklyn, NY. He is the founder and Artistic Director of Fish out of Water Productions, a cross-cultural theatre collective created in Beijing, China in 2008. As a founding board member of Musical Theatre Factory in NYC, he has seen them develop hundreds of new musicals since 2014 including Broadway and Off-Broadway hits. Andi enjoys making short films and was a 2021 Documentary Intensive fellow with BRIC Arts Media in Brooklyn, NY. He loves all things sci-fi and he loves musicals so this blog is a passion project in the works for many years.
